Home Reading Program
The Lakeivew Staff believe in the importance of reading. Just look at the incredible power it has. It’s true: Reading is knowledge, knowledge is power. To this end, we have initiated the Home Reading Club again this year at Lakeview.
At the beginning of September your child brought home a reading sheet to keep track of the nights he /she read. Once sheet is completed your child returns it to school. And then the fun began!
Students will be recognized for their reading achievement, along with a sticker of Home Reading recognition for the year end school certificate.
Please note, your child cannot do it alone. Your child needs you to help them fill in the reading sheet. It is as simple as putting in the date, and your initials to verify your child as read…..and then you have then done your part!
Please encourage Lakeview children to become strong readers!!!
